1967 Ford Mustang description:
Take a close look at this Beautiful MustangShelby GT500 Tribute and you'll see a lot of fine details that look great. This car underwent a very detailed2 yearre-work by a restorerknown for his attention to detail. The car was a great candidate with less than average miles and spending most of it's life in Arizona. COMPARE THE PANEL FITMENT ON THIS CAR WITH OTHERS LISTED - THE REAR DECK, THE HOOD ALIGNMENT AT THE NOSE, AND OTHER AREAS. THIS IS A SUPERIOR BUILD COMPARED TO MOST.
Thebuild started with the Shelby Tribute as the goal and was fitted along the way with all of the Shelby details, taken from the Shelby Master Assembly Manual and three other Shelby books, detailing the way the car was created. The same Shelby appeal and looks can be seen in this fine example of what was originally designed and produced.Almost allof the parts for the car are new, with the exception of the Original Body. This car gets a lot of attention wherever it goes, and is a blast to drive.
The BRAND NEW power plant is this car is incredible with 535 Horsepower and 545 Lbs. of torque!! Even with all of this under the hood, this car still sounds and handles very nicely. The exhaust is Flowmaster Delta Flow 50's, and it has a great tone, without overpowering the interior. The underbody was reinforced with a sub-frame and additional stiff backs on the existing frame, and has traction bars styled after the 66 Shelby.
ThePaint is 4 coats of Urethane Base Coat and 7 Coats of Urethane Clear Coat. It was sanded flat, cut,and buffed out with a 5 stage process, leaving a gorgeous finish. The underside was painted the same method, while it was on the rotisserie, and is a thing of beauty also. The entire interior, engine bay, and trunk were also painted and finished in Wimbledon White. The stripes are painted on, done in Caspian Blue, one of two Blue colors chosenforstripes on Wimbledon White.
Here are some of the details about the car:
