1989 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 description:Vehicle currently drives great, smooth on highway at speed. I really enjoy driving this classic manual truck, but I have to move on.
Engine 5.0L V8 (305ci) runs great always turns over even in sub zero temperatures.
8 foot extended bed
5 speed manual transmission, lots of fun to drive. (one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned.)
Heat and Air Conditioning work great.
6 disk sony cd player, radio works as well.
I'm the second owner, bought from first owner who had it for the first 25 years of her life.
2011: Clutch was replaced.
2012: Rear end was rebuild, new front bumper, fog lights installed.
2015: New clutch slave and master cylinder assembly installed and system bleed.
2015: New left front drive axle shaft assembly.
2016: New rear bumper and tag light harness, magnaflow super 44 exhaust cat back dual chrome tip assembly, new tinted rear window with dual sliding windows.
The not so good:
Needs front end work to pass PA inspection, estimated cost from shop was $1500, tags expired 11/16. I don't have the time or money to put into her to do it myself.
4x4 doesn't engage, not sure why, have ran in 2rwd with no problems.
Deer ran into passenger side of vehicle denting passenger door.
Paint is not in the best condition as seen in pictures.
The turn signal does not automatically disengage after making left turn.
driver front wheel well 3"wide x1" long
rocker panels have rust on driver and passenger side, I have replacement for one side, never got around to installing yours for included.
